Calling All Cookie Bakers!
You’re invited to enter this contest!
Bake your favorite, most delicious holiday cookie recipe and bring us a sample.
Our tasters extraordinaire will sample the cookies and announce the favorite in theDec. 12 issue of The Hamburg Area Item and the Dec, 13 issue of The Kutztown Patriot.
Contest Rules:
• Drop a sealed disposable container or sealed plastic bag containing six samples of your favorite homemade cookies, along with the recipe, at any of the following locations: Berks-Mont Newspapers, 12 S. Fourth St., Hamburg, PA; Wooden Bridge Drygoods, 195 Deysher Road, Kutztown, PA 19530 at or before 10 am, Friday, Dec. 7. No entries accepted late. Judging will be held that afternoon.
• Cookies will be judged by taste and overall appearance.
• Cookie entries are limited to made-from scratch cookies. Recipes must accompany the entry.
• Bakers must be a resident of one of the newspapers coverage areas.
